Our pretty villa, which is sitting on land measuring 1,071 sq. m, is situated in the much sought after village of Ano Katelios and was completed in December 2005. We are 15 minutes walk, down a quiet lane to the main road, from the delightful and popular seafront of Katelios, with its many excellent and traditional tavernas, supermarkets, shops and typical Greek fishing boats. Of course, there is also the sandy beach. The closest large tourist resort to us is Skala and this is 10 minutes drive away.

From our house we have a view of the Ionian Sea and Zakynthos and are surrounded by the mountains forming our valley. We have an added attractive feature in the form of the ruins of an old church, which managed to, in part, withstand the earthquake of 1953. The most outstanding feature of our garden is the huge, ancient olive tree, with steps leading up, that is a striking sight as you approach the property.

The villa itself is a single-storey measuring 162 sq.m including basement, comprising three bedrooms with two bathrooms (one en-suite).

Entrance to the house is gained through a vestibule/lobby, and from there, via an arched doorway, into the L-shaped kitchen/dining room and lounge. From the lounge/diner (17.6m x 3.88m), with brick corner fireplace, there is another arched doorway into a small hallway with the bedrooms leading off.

The kitchen (3.97m x 3.62m), leading from the dining area through an arched doorway,is very spacious and fully fitted with quality silver appliances -fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker, and microwave. The master bedroom is extremely spacious (4.48m x 3.84m), with one wall of white built-in wardrobes and storage cupboards and double doors to garden. The large en-suite bathroom has a glass-bricked, walk-in shower, sink unit, toilet and heated towel rail.
